LIFESTYLE | CHP REP MEETING

11th year having CHP REPS…each year is better and better! For this year the weather changed our outdoor meeting plans and we had to make quick accommodation changes to inside but it all worked out. There were 3 CHP REP birthdays celebrated, a few fun games were played, the coolest swag bags given and then each CHP REP had the opportunity to write out the “biggest regret” or “mistake they’ve made” on a huge chalk board. After everyone wrote their answers it was interesting to see all of the different things students wrote. After reading through several of them to the group, I discussed how easy it is for me to erase the chalkboard with the easer I was holding in my hand. They all agreed that it would be simple for me to erase things. I then shared with each student that when we have a relationship with Jesus, He wipes our slate (chalkboard) clean. When Christ died on the cross, He died for our mistakes, regrets and all of our sins. When you’re a part of CHP you will hear Jesus shared many times…it comes up a lot in conversations and during hangouts. Blessed to do life with so many amazing students (and their families). Gonna be a GREAT year!
